What is the Defense M4A1?
The Daniel Defense M4A1 is an AR-15-style carbine conforming to the US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) SOPMOD Block II standard. It's chambered in 5.56mm NATO and features a 14.5-inch, chrome-lined, cold-hammer-forged barrel. The muzzle device is pinned and welded, allowing it to bypass NFA regulations. Its most notable feature is the RIS II quad-rail handguard, officially adopted by the US military, offering high durability and expandability. It features a caliber-length direct-impact gas system and a receiver machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with a hard-coat anodized finish. It also features a GRIP-N-RIP charging handle for improved operability and an ergonomic grip and stock. It weighs approximately 3.06 kg and measures approximately 80-88 cm in length. This model combines high reliability and combat-ready specifications for professional use.
