What is the AK-12?
The real AK-12 was announced in 2011 and officially approved for adoption by the Russian Ministry of Defense in 2018, making it a 5th generation AK rifle. It is a cutting-edge Russian assault rifle that fires 5.45x39mm rounds, developed by the Kalashnikov Group (formerly Izhmash), known for its AK rifles. While inheriting the high reliability of the AK, the AK-12 features new designs such as a new muzzle brake, telescopic/folding stock, and ambidextrous selector. Picatinny rails have been added to the receiver and handguard, improving expandability. Since 2018, it has been deployed to Russian infantry and special forces units. It has also been confirmed for use not only in Russia but also in neighboring countries and the Middle East.
About the WELL PRO AK-12
This is the first toy gun to feature the latest AK-12M1 model showcased by Kalashnikov at the international arms forum "ARMY-2023."
Instead of reusing conventional AK receivers, the design is completely new, with meticulous attention to detail in reproducing the distinctive receiver, handguard, ambidextrous selector, stock shape, and the addition of a cheek rest.
While the body is made of resin (polymer reinforced with nylon fiber), key components are made of metal, ensuring sufficient precision and strength.
The internal gearbox is also equipped with high-performance features such as 6-level precocking, binary trigger for semi-auto, and 3-round burst for full-auto!
