The P-90 Plus, which is equipped with the FET circuit "PLUS system" and is compatible with MS and Li-Po batteries, is the first in the AEG Plus series!
The PLUS system (FET circuit) developed exclusively by Tokyo Marui provides high safety and improved trigger response during semi-auto firing.
Based on the standard P-90 series electric gun, this model has been upgraded to offer superior operability.
The first Tokyo Marui electric gun to feature FET was the Next-Generation Mark 46 Mod 0, released at the end of 2019. The microcomputer-controlled "M-SYSTEM" (electronic trigger) system was introduced in the Next-Generation MP5 series, released in the summer of 2021. Both systems are still only used in select models, even for high-end Next-Generation electric guns.
Until now, only a few high-end models have adopted FET and electronic triggers, and now the first in the "Electric Gun Plus" series has finally arrived, featuring standard electric guns for the first time, improving performance.
To be precise, it is not the same system as the one installed in the next-generation electric gun, but the trigger switch has a structure that combines FET and mechanical, achieving crisp trigger response and high switch durability.
It also comes equipped with a "PLUS System" electronic trigger that monitors and controls the battery/motor.
The "Kono PLUS System" does not have microcomputer-controlled fire control (firing mode control) like the "M-SYSTEM" installed in next-generation electric guns, but it does have crisp trigger response and high switch durability.
It also allows you to safely use high-output Li-Po batteries.
Tokyo Marui's new series "Electric Gun Plus" is expected to become the new standard for electric guns in the future. It's surprising that the first model in the series is the "P90" with its rather unique appearance and structure, but come to think of it, the model that Tokyo Marui previously released as the world's first electric gun was the eccentric French military gun "FA-MAS."
This product adds a new page to the history of domestic manufacturers, and expectations are high for future developments in the "Electric Gun Plus" series.
This gun features a switch that combines mechanical and FET technology. Compared to mechanical-only switches, this reduces current loss at the contact points, improving response time from pulling the trigger to firing the BB. The switch itself is also more durable.
We have developed the "PLUS System" in which a microcomputer (MCU = Microcontroller Unit) comprehensively monitors and controls the FET, battery, and motor. This system not only controls the rotation of the motor, but also detects damage or abnormalities in various parts and stops operation, making it a safe system.
The receiver is finished in a subdued black paint, which adds a touch of texture and creates a solid feel.
It can be disassembled into three parts: the mechanism covered by the stock with integrated grip, the barrel unitized with the sight receiver, and the magazine. It reproduces the same takedown as the real thing.
The trigger finger can be used to operate the selector, allowing you to change firing modes without losing your stance. Also, if the selector is in the full-auto position, you can switch between semi-auto and full-auto by simply pulling the trigger.
The sight receiver is equipped with three mounting rails, allowing for the attachment of optional parts compatible with 20mm mounting rails, such as red dot sights and flashlights.
By removing the new aluminum flash hider, you can attach a muzzle option with a 14mm reverse thread, such as a silencer.
It comes with a semi-transparent magazine with a capacity of 68 rounds and 5.7mm x 28 dummy cartridges inside.
