Improvements include a change from a side to a top-loading battery storage method, and the elimination of the battery cover that protruded to the right side, resulting in a slimmer design. The battery case has also been designed to be as thin (low) as possible so that the entire lens is within the field of view. The windage/elevation screws use a click mechanism that does not use locking screws.

It boasts excellent impact resistance (600G) and can be attached directly to a handgun slide. It features 10 levels of brightness adjustment for night vision (N1/N2). It also features an automatic shutoff function if the illumination is left on. It is completely waterproof even when the main body and mount base are separated. Furthermore, each screw hole, which is repeatedly used for attaching and detaching the mount, is helically inserted for high durability and the highest level of strength.
