【Golden Eagle】H&K MR556 A4 16-inch Black GBBR Gas Blowback Rifle

What is the real HK MR556 A4?

The HK MR556 A4 is a semi-automatic rifle developed by Germany's Heckler & Koch for the civilian market, designed based on the company's military model, the HK416. It uses 5.56x45mm NATO rounds and, while retaining the appearance and operability of the AR-15 style, it adopts a short-stroke gas piston + rotating bolt operating system, offering superior reliability, cleanliness, and maintainability compared to conventional systems.

While designed for civilian use, the MR556 A4 features a 16.5-inch barrel, a lightweight structure weighing around 7.6 pounds, and ambidextrous controls, making it suitable for a wide range of applications from law enforcement and tactical competitions to precision shooting. With its top rail, modular handguard, adjustable gas regulator, and design that provides a comfortable shooting experience, it is highly refined as a modern AR carbine, combining reliability as equipment with a premium feel.

Even in the United States, it is positioned as the "civilian version of the HK416" and is popular among civilian shooters seeking military-grade performance, boasting a high status in the tactical AR market. It is regarded as the pinnacle of civilian HK rifles, with no compromises in performance, durability, or operability.
