Real Steel Overview:
The MP5 is a 9x19mm Parabellum submachine gun developed by German firearms manufacturer Heckler & Koch (H&K). Since its introduction in the 1960s, it has been adopted by military, law enforcement agencies, and special forces units worldwide, and has long been highly regarded as a leading submachine gun for close-quarters combat. Combining a compact size, excellent maneuverability, and high accuracy, it has achieved numerous successes in tasks requiring precise shooting, such as counter-terrorism operations, hostage rescue, and critical infrastructure security.

Its main feature is H&K's unique roller-delayed blowback system. Firing from a closed bolt, it achieves higher accuracy compared to typical open-bolt submachine guns. Additionally, with manageable recoil from 9x19mm rounds and excellent control during rapid fire, it allows for stable shooting in confined spaces like indoors or urban areas. Its simple, reliable structure and excellent maintainability are also reasons for its continued adoption over many years.

The MP5 series includes various derivatives to suit different missions, such as fixed-stock models, retractable-stock models, short-barreled models, and integral suppressor models. Among them, the MP5A5, equipped with a retractable stock, is a representative model that balances portability and shooting stability, and has been widely used by special forces and law enforcement agencies.

The MP5J is based on the "MP5F," which was reinforced for French law enforcement agencies, and incorporates specifications requested by Japanese law enforcement agencies. It features a reinforced F-stock and a QD flash hider, and has been used by Japanese police special forces and SAT. It is known as a model with unique Japanese specifications while inheriting the high accuracy and excellent operability that the MP5 series boasts.
