The THUNDER and THUNDER Pro series have been upgraded to become the THUNDER 2.0
This compact and lightweight thermal riflescope offers a level of visibility not found in optical riflescopes, and is equipped with digital features such as zeroing functionality thanks to an electronic reticle. Models TH35P 2.0 and above feature a focus knob on the top, making focusing more efficient when mounted on a firearm.
*A dedicated mount (sold separately) is required to attach it to your gun. If you need one, please select the mount set product.
Rail WP (mounting rail)
This is a mounting rail for attaching HIKMICRO's thermal riflescopes THUNDER 2.0 series, Clip-On THUNDER 2.0 series, and CHEETAH series to rifles.
Compatible with Picatinny and Weaver standards.
Rail Quick Release (mounting rail)
This is a mounting rail for attaching HIKMICRO's thermal riflescopes THUNDER 2.0 series, Clip-On THUNDER 2.0 series, and CHEETAH series to rifles.
Compatible with Picatinny and Weaver standards, the scope can be attached and detached from the rail with one touch without the need for tools.
■ Highly sensitive thermal sensor that can detect and visualize minute temperature differences of 0.02°C
The THUNDER 2.0 series can detect temperature differences of as little as 0.02°C (0.035°C for the TE19/25 2.0) and process them to generate thermal images. This means that it can accurately capture targets even in scenes with little temperature difference between the target and its surroundings, and even depict the target's texture. Combined with a high-resolution sensor and F1.0 large-aperture lens, this allows for accurate recognition of targets hiding in bushes or darkness.
Replaceable and rechargeable high-capacity lithium-ion battery for extended gaming time
The THUNDER 2.0 Series features a new dedicated lithium-ion battery pack, providing 10 to 8.5 hours of continuous use, depending on the model. A spare battery is included as standard, allowing you to use it for as long as you need throughout the day. It also performs well in low temperatures. The battery can be charged using the included charger or while it's inside the scope.
■ Reticle Profile and Reticle Settings
Five reticle groups can each store five reticle settings (distance, reticle type [10 types ] , reticle color [ 4 colors ], zero-in setting). The screen can be frozen during zero-in, allowing for precise adjustment.
■ Rugged design for professional use The magnesium alloy exterior combines lightweight and compact design with stability and durability. Its IP67 rating ensures reliable use in any weather. It is also designed to withstand impacts of 1,000g/0.4ms, making it suitable for use with real guns. The THUNDER 2.0 series can be mounted to a gun using a dedicated rail system compliant with Picatinny and Weaver standards (sold separately from the scope itself). The THUNDER 2.0 series can also be used as a thermal monocular scope.
■ High-quality image and accurate target capture
It uses a high-precision VOx (vanadium oxide) infrared sensor that can distinguish temperature differences of 0.02°C or 0.035°C and an F1.0 large-aperture lens, allowing it to capture targets with clear images even in harsh conditions such as darkness, fog, smoke, dust, rain, snow, bushes, and camouflage.
This advanced thermal image sensor and large-diameter objective lens provide high detection capabilities, and for example, a target approximately 1.7m in diameter can be detected at a maximum distance of 1,000-2,600m depending on the model. In addition, all models feature a high frame rate of 50fps, ensuring smooth screen movement so you never miss the best moment to shoot.
■ Image processing functions that can be used in any situation
Like a thermal monocular, it offers four image processing palettes, hot tracking, up to 8x digital zoom, and brightness and contrast adjustment. It also features a picture-in-picture function that displays an enlarged image of only the center of the live view, allowing you to observe the entire field of view and detailed images at the same time. Simple distance measurement is also possible.
■ Equipped with a large 0.39-inch OLED display
All HIKMICRO thermal riflescope models are equipped with a 1024 x 768 pixel, 0.39-inch organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display, providing high-quality images with detailed corner-to-corner images and deep blacks.
■ Precise and easy-to-use zeroing function unique to digital devices
The camera is equipped with a comprehensive zeroing function, which has a decisive effect on shooting accuracy. After firing the first shot, you can freeze the screen to prevent shaking (freeze function) and zoom in to correct the reticle position, allowing for perfect zeroing adjustment with minimal correction.
■ A wide variety of reticle designs
The reticle is available in 10 different designs and 4 colors, allowing you to choose your preferred setting depending on the situation.
■ Digital zoom
Equipped with up to 8x digital zoom, it makes small targets appear larger.
■ Distance measurement function
You can easily measure the distance to the target and the height of the target.
■ Hottest spot tracking (hot tracking)
The hottest point on the screen is detected, a green cross mark is displayed, and the point is tracked, making it easier to find moving heat sources such as people and animals.
■ Photo taking and video recording functions
The camera has a built-in 16GB memory and can record still images and videos (with or without audio). Photos and videos can be taken while the live view is displayed. It also features a highlight recording function that automatically records seven seconds before and after a recoil shock detected during a shot. Captured and recorded data can be viewed on a smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi, or exported to a PC via a USB cable.
■ Wi-Fi connection function with mobile app
By installing the dedicated app "HIKMICRO SIGHT" on your smartphone or tablet (iOS, Android), you can connect your mobile device to the scope via Wi-Fi hotspot and expand the scope's functionality. You can share the live image displayed in the scope's viewfinder, adjust the image, take photos and videos, and more. The app also has a function to install the latest firmware.
■ Can be used in harsh environments
With an IP67 rating, it is dustproof and waterproof, allowing for safe use in any harsh environment. Its operating temperature range is wide, from -30°C to 55°C, depending on the model.
■ High frame rate
All models feature a high frame rate of 50Hz, allowing even moving targets to be displayed smoothly.
■ Japanese support
The menu display and instruction manual for this unit are available in multiple languages, including Japanese, so you can use it with peace of mind.
■ Two types of power sources for long-term use
In addition to the built-in lithium-ion battery (charged via USB-C cable), it can also use one CR123A battery, providing up to 15 hours of continuous use. USB-C charging supports Quick Charge (QC) 3.0.
■ Tough body that can withstand bad weather
It can be used in a wide temperature range from -30 to +55°C and is designed with an IP67 rating, so you can concentrate on shooting without worrying about rain, splashes, or dust.
■ Connect to your smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi
The digital zoom function of up to 8x allows you to see distant targets in detail. Connect your Android or iOS smartphone or tablet to STELLAR via Wi-Fi and use the dedicated app to control STELLAR, share your screen, and save it.
