What is the real HK416A5?
Developed by Heckler & Koch, the HK416A5 is a latest-generation assault rifle that combines the handling of the M4 carbine and the AR system with the company's proprietary short-stroke gas piston system. The A5 model features a fully ambidextrous design, allowing for comfortable operation for both left- and right-handed users. It is also equipped with a tool-free gas regulator, enabling quick adjustments even when using a suppressor. The handguard extends to cover the gas block and offers high expandability with M-LOK and 1913 Picatinny rails. Barrel lengths ranging from 11 to 16.5 inches are available, making it suitable for a wide range of applications from close-quarters combat to medium-range shooting. Due to its high durability and reliability, it is one of the most representative modern tactical rifles, adopted by the U.S. Marine Corps' M27 IAR as well as the armies and special forces of various European countries.
