The Explorer series, with its orthodox style, was developed with the concept of being a gun that owners can easily customize to their own preferences.

This electric gun is packed with various appealing features, including the world's first "mechanical variable pre-cocking"! It is undoubtedly ideal as a custom base!

■Orthodox AR15 design

The Explorer series boasts an orthodox AR15 style that is easy for owners to customize.

The pattern is based on the angle of the standard grip.

The plain design, free from strong assertiveness, allows for maximum enhancement of exterior customization by the owner.

■Stock system adaptable to all environments

Traditional ARs, modeled after real firearms, had limitations on stock design due to the operating mechanism and recoil control of the actual firearm.

However, C.A.T. prioritizes convenience and enjoyment in airsoft use, so we designed without being constrained by the limitations of real firearms.

The stock base can be adjusted to three height levels with a Picatinny rail, and the modular MPS stock allows for style changes according to purpose and objective.

The stock base can be folded, significantly improving portability when traveling on public transportation or storage when not being used for survival games or shooting.

■Split gearbox & real takedown mechanism

In conventional AR15-type electric guns, the rear end of the gearbox is hidden by the lower receiver.

Therefore, when incorporating a takedown mechanism, the rear end would get caught, necessitating either a deformed receiver shape or the implementation of a unique mechanism.

To reproduce a realistic takedown mechanism with the dimensions of a standard electric AR15 receiver, C.A.T. shortened the piston stroke and reduced the length of the upper gearbox's rear end.

This made it possible to perform a realistic takedown without compromising the external appearance.

The Appeal of C.A.T.

• World's first mechanical "variable" pre-cocking mechanism
  Equipped with a pre-cocking function that holds the piston in the retracted position without an electronic board.
  This achieves extremely high semi-automatic performance.

  While pre-cocking has traditionally been controlled electronically, C.A.T. has reproduced this completely mechanically, without relying on electronic components.
  A challenge with mechanical pre-cocking was that the piston's retraction amount would vary significantly depending on internal settings and the battery.
  
  To address this, we developed the MAP sector gear.
  
  By allowing fine adjustment of the cut-off cam angle, it became possible to flexibly respond to performance changes caused by internal settings, batteries, and other factors.

• Split Gearbox & Real Takedown Mechanism
  A completely new gearbox and receiver structure have been adopted. To allow adjustment of the mechanical variable pre-cocking, a real firearm-like takedown function has been implemented.
  It is designed to use existing standard parts as much as possible, making it suitable as a base for internal customization.
  *Due to the short piston stroke, the sector gear has two teeth removed.

• Performance comparable to custom guns
  The motor, which is the heart of the electric gun, uses SPARK's original INAZUMA motor. (A Japanese-made high-performance motor highly regarded for custom use.) Equipped with a hard pinion gear for excellent quietness.
  
  The accuracy is such that at least 7 out of 10 people can achieve headshots on a human-sized target at 30m, giving it frontline performance even without customization.

• Sensuous Trigger Feel
  The synergistic effect of mechanical variable pre-cocking and a microswitch achieves a crisp, click-like sear trigger feel similar to real firearms and gas guns.
  
  Furthermore, the IWS trigger for micro V2, developed specifically for microswitches, features a multi-faceted design that accommodates all shooting postures.
  
  Because it is clear exactly how far the trigger must be pulled to fire, it allows for more accurate shooting and offers a pre-cocking shooting experience that appeals to human sensibilities in a way that electronic control cannot.

• High-rigidity, lightweight metal receiver
  The AR-15 series uses a high-rigidity metal receiver, but every effort has been made to reduce weight, achieving a weight comparable to electric guns with resin receivers.

• Real Steel Quality Handguard
  The handguard is manufactured by a real steel handguard manufacturer mainly selling to the US market.
  It possesses robustness comparable to that of real steel.

• Foldable stock base for carrying to airsoft games with just one backpack
  The buffer tube base is equipped with a Picatinny rail. The height can also be adjusted up and down, allowing it to be used like an offset stock.
  Folding it can compact your luggage when traveling.
  
  The buffer tube is a real screw-in type, and can be fired even when folded to the left for compactness.

  SPARK's uniquely developed Multi-Purpose System (MPS) stock is modular, allowing for replacement with parts that can store up to a Mini-s sized battery, or a lower-profile buttplate.
