The sights, a feature of the Type 97 sniper rifle, have also been reproduced and can be attached and detached just like the real thing. Furthermore, this time the stock is made of Onigurumi (Japanese walnut), which was also used on the real Type 38. The barrel and mechanism are black, but the bolt is the only part that has an original gray steel finish. In both appearance and performance, this is the definitive gas bolt action sniper rifle used by the Imperial Japanese Army.
