No tools, levers, or knobs are required for installation; simply press the mount against the Picatinny rail to secure it in place. To remove it, simply push in the release bar at the front of the mount to release the lock. Because it has a two-stage lock, it will not release unless you intentionally push the bar in.

This innovative system allows for easy attachment and detachment while preventing accidental detachment of the optical device. The mount also features a "Lower 1/3 co-witness" height, which is designed for a typical AR15 rifle, so that when looking through the red sight, the iron sights appear to be at a height of less than the lower third. This is the most common mount height for real guns, allowing both the red and iron sights to be viewed without interfering with each other.
