Traditional 18:1 gear ratios tended to be too low, while 13:1 ratios tended to be too high in cycle. Additionally, 16:1 and 12:1 ratios presented issues with noise and gear breakage due to gear shape problems. This product re-evaluates the output gear ratio of the bevel gear and sets a new optimal ratio of 14.4:1. This maximizes the high torque and high-efficiency rotational characteristics unique to brushless motors while suppressing excessive cycle rates. SSG14.4:1 is the new standard gear for silence, high efficiency, and high response, tailored for the brushless motor era.

【Changes for Higher Speed and Easier Setup】 To accommodate motors with instantaneously rising rotation speeds like brushless motors, improve electronic trigger response, and support pre-cocking, the tappet pin position of the sector gear has been shifted to a later timing than conventional models. This increases the flexibility and ease of tappet plate setup.
It allows for settings where the change in cut-off timing is minimal while adjusting the relationship between nozzle opening timing and the piston. Furthermore, the nozzle closing timing can be adjusted by cutting the lower part of the tappet plate wing, increasing the freedom of processing shape and making nozzle control easier.
Note: There are differences from conventional settings, so please test thoroughly before use.
【Optimized for the Mugen Brushless Motor Series】 The pinion gears used in H.T.G. Basic Mugen Brushless Motor Series are compatible with this gear. You can use them without worrying about compatibility.
【Further Performance Improvement with Meticulous Shim Adjustment】 Precise shim adjustment minimizes backlash (play) between gears, expecting improved efficient torque transmission and response. We recommend using it in conjunction with the high-precision H.T.G. Basic Shim Set.

9:1・7.2:1・5.4:1 (DSG): Dual Sector Gear specification achieving astonishing rates of fire and crisp semi-auto shots through short strokes. *For DSG sets, since the sector gear operates twice, the effective gear ratio is 1/2.
【Caution】 ・The sector gear has 16 spur teeth (8 teeth for DSG) that pull the piston. ・Processing and adjustment may be required for installation.
