Impact-resistant eyewear born from the codename "SHADOW".
WX SHADOW is not just a simple Asian fit. The frame, lenses, and all other components were designed and engineered for Japanese users from the development stage. This impact-resistant eyewear is compliant with Mil-Spec MIL-PRF-32432 and ANSI Z87.1 (Z87+) standards. The development of WX SHADOW began in 2012, and in 2013, it officially launched after the production of the "CC Proto 1" prototype, which was created for the purpose of fitting research, evaluation, and study for Japanese users. Its codename was "SHADOW".
From the beginning, the high safety, functionality, and design of this "SHADOW" were highly praised, leading to the early productization of "WX TIDE" (REGULAR: standard size) as a derivative. "SHADOW" continued its research, evaluation, and study, adopting highly-rated fittings from over 2,000 Japanese individuals over seven years, and the codename "SHADOW" was commercialized as "WX SHADOW".
