The "E" stands for "Top Grade." The EXPS3 is designed for binocular shooting and is 7mm higher from the bottom, but still allows for acceptable iron sight access. It features easy side button adjustments and locking and quick release levers. It is also compatible with Gen-I through Gen-III night vision systems.
