[Tamura Equipment Development] T-Ranger Hat - Gen.2

The T-Ranger Hat (hereinafter referred to as the R Hat) has highly practical features not found in ordinary bush hats.

1. Ensuring visibility To ensure sufficient visibility, the hat's gusset is shallow and the brim is short.
The short brim makes it easier to move your gaze to treetops or higher floors, and has less impact on aiming when shooting.
In addition, the shorter brim is less likely to cast unnatural shadows on the face, improving camouflage effectiveness.

2. Breathable mesh fabric is used to ensure breathability.

3. Infrared camouflage material (GSDF camouflage only)
The JGSDF camouflage "T-Ranger Hat_Gen.2" is made of ripstop cotton fabric with near-infrared camouflage treatment, providing camouflage against surveillance using night vision devices.

4. Use in combination with camouflage mesh
Camouflage mesh for T RH (hereinafter referred to as camo mesh) can be attached to the hook-and-loop fastener on the top of the T-Ranger Hat_Gen.2.

By using camo mesh to remove the contours of the body, you can break up the distinctive human silhouette and enhance the camouflage effect.

5. Identification cloth
The inside of the T-Ranger Hat_Gen.2 has an easily identifiable fluorescent orange cross sewn on it. By removing the hat and showing the inside, it can be used to identify troops, and by wearing it inside out, it can be identified to friendly aircraft and drones.

6. Camouflage cord: Three layers of paracord are sewn around the pot. By intertwining natural camouflage material, the camouflage effect is enhanced.

7. Drawcord: To adjust the size around the hood, there is a built-in adjustable cord that can be used with a cord lock at the back of the head. This is effective in preventing the chin strap from falling off even when not in use.
