Product Description

We are selling the manufacturing error products that have been the subject of some discussion!

*Sales will end when stock runs out.

Well, there are only a few days left until 2024.

The end of the year is always a busy time, but this year there have been more new releases and resale products than usual at this time of year, making it already hectic.

During this extremely busy time at the end of the year, an unprecedented incident has occurred.

Marui's Glock series was suddenly discontinued in the first half of 2024, but has now been re-released after more than six months, and a surprising engraving error has been discovered on the highly anticipated G19 Gen4...

The mistake was quite interesting: the GLOCK logo on the grip part of the frame was upside down, a minor manufacturing defect that made you wonder, ``Huh, why would that happen?''

Was this logo part of the mold just inset, and was it accidentally inset upside down? But is that really how it's made? Or was the logo stamped, and was it just in the wrong direction? Well, it's a pretty noticeable part to begin with, so wouldn't they have noticed it during subsequent inspection? After all, it's the part that faces up when the part is packaged. Even if they didn't notice it during part manufacturing or assembly, there's still a chance they'd find it after assembly. How could they have overlooked all of that and shipped it?

Anyway, we don't really know why this happened, but due to this issue alone, the entire production lot was suddenly and officially halted from shipping. The manufacturer is currently considering how to deal with this issue. (As of December 23, 2024)

"In that case, we won't be able to sell it in our store," we thought, and contacted customers who had made reservations to explain the situation and apologize.

Some customers said, "I actually want that defective product!" and "I absolutely want it, so please open it and check that it's a defective product before sending it to me!"

Yes, I certainly understand that feeling. For example, it's like the Apple logo being upside down, and if you find something that rare, as a collector you'd want to get your hands on it. In fact, in all the years I've been working in this field, I've never seen such a manufacturing defect (which is cute in a way). In fact, it's not surprising that some people find value in it. After all, the product is completely normal except for the one upside-down engraving.

It seems that there are quite a few requests from users on social media, and we have received quite a few inquiries about this product, so for the time being we have decided to sell only the products that we have already received.

For these reasons, please be aware of the engraving errors when purchasing this product. Incidentally, it seems that there are no units in this batch that are free of errors, so you will not be able to get a normal product until the next re-production. Furthermore, there is information that production of Marui's Glock series will likely be delayed in the future, so it is quite possible that you will have to wait a long time to get a normal product.

If the manufacturer decides to replace or take other measures regarding this error product, we believe that customers who wish to do so will be required to send it directly to the manufacturer. In that case, please handle this on your own. However, in order to prevent this issue from becoming a bigger problem and to simplify the follow-up response as much as possible, we have decided to suspend shipments to prevent as many products as possible from reaching users. Therefore, as a way of showing support to the manufacturer, who must be in great trouble after their mistake, we would ask that you please continue to keep the product in its current condition even after the response process begins.

We believe that many of the visitors to our website have relatively niche tastes (yes, we're talking about you), and we hope that you will consider this interesting and rare item, which will surely appeal to such customers.

*As of January 10, 2025, the manufacturer began offering free replacements for this product (products with engraving errors) with normal frames. If you would like to do so, please send the product directly to Tokyo Marui. Applications will be accepted until April 20, 2025, and please note that error frames will not be returned after replacement. For more information, please visit the Tokyo Marui website.

Key Features

  • Large diameter cylinder

It inherits the blowback engine and internal structure of the Glock 17 Gen.4 and uses a 15mm diameter cylinder, achieving stable shooting performance and powerful blowback.

  • Improved reproducibility

Based on measurements taken from the real Glock 19 Gen. 4, we pursued realism in size and detail. Furthermore, we paid particular attention to reproducing the texture of the finer details, such as recreating the dual recoil springs and making the extractor and slide cover plate separate parts. *This is a dummy that only replicates the exterior.

  • Gen.4 style railed frame

The frame is integrated with a 20mm wide underrail that can accommodate a light, an essential part of CQB equipment, and features a new anti-slip design. It also comes with two types of back straps in two sizes, allowing you to adjust the grip size to three different positions, including when not attached.

  • Lanyard Link

The lanyard link at the rear of the grip can be used to attach a lanyard (shoulder strap) to prevent loss or dropping.

  • Cocking indicator

It is equipped with a gimmick that allows you to easily determine whether the main unit is ready to fire based on the resting position of the trigger.

  • Die-cast magazine

The magazine comes with a 22-round capacity, cold-resistant die-cast Glock 19 Gen 3 compatible magazine. Glock 17 magazines can also be used.
