This item prevents BB bullets from directly hitting and shattering the lenses of your precious optical equipment.

This S size is compatible with scopes and dot sights with 30mm objective lenses.

This shield is installed on a 20mm rail and protects the lens simply by placing it in front of the objective lens of an optical device.

Unlike dedicated types that are attached to the optical equipment body, this can be used universally with a variety of products.

The shield parts are made of 1.5mm thick polycarbonate plates, which are also used for the lenses of airsoft goggles.

Made in Japan with high quality, it provides a clear view without interfering with the original brightness and resolution of the optical equipment used.

If small scratches develop over time and visibility is reduced, the shield can be replaced with a spare shield, sold separately.

[The need for lens shields]

Optical devices such as scopes and dot sights, especially those designed for real guns, are built to be robust enough to withstand strong impacts such as the recoil of a real gun, but the lenses can easily break if hit directly by an airsoft BB bullet at close range.

This is because, in the first place, the situation in which a high-speed flying object hits the lens when using a real gun is extremely unusual and is not generally considered a scenario. There is no benefit to making the lens thicker and stronger, even if it means losing the brightness and clarity of the field of view that are the most important aspects of optical equipment.

This is also true for airsoft items such as replicas; if the design focuses on providing good visibility, the strength of the lens will naturally be reduced, and there are almost no products that can withstand a direct hit from a BB bullet.

However, if a direct hit from a BB bullet causes the lens of an optical device to break, crack, or scratch, it's still a good thing if it can be repaired even if it costs money, but many products do not cover lens damage, meaning that the device can no longer be used.
