Colt's civilian Government "Series '70" rifle, released in the 1970s, stands out among its variations with its "nickel finish" that features a dazzling, glossy finish.
Tokyo Marui's "Series '70 (Nickel Finish)" uses glossy chrome plating to recreate the realistic color of the nickel finish. Furthermore, the serial number, engraving, and the shape of each part and the wood grain of the grip are all meticulously recreated to create a supreme model that is truly realistic down to the smallest detail.
The slide, frame, and outer barrel are finished with a glossy chrome finish to recreate a mirror-like nickel finish, and the parting lines are meticulously polished by hand to create a beautiful curved surface.
The barrel bushing, thumb safety, grip safety, and spur hammer, all of which are distinctive features of the '70 Series, have been carefully designed and finished in a lustrous silver finish.
The engraving on the side of the slide is stamped after molding, rather than in a mold. This process is similar to the real thing, making it even more realistic. The engraving is small address style, and the serial number is "late model 00000B70."
The wood-grain grip features checkered anti-slip material and a gold medallion embedded in it.
The metal parts inside the slide absorb the stress when the slide is opened, preventing wear and tear on the slide stop and notch.
The slide recoils forcefully upon firing, realistically reproducing the powerful appearance and strong recoil at the time of firing.
