Actual Product Overview:
The AK-105 is a 5.45×39mm carbine rifle developed by Izhmash (now Kalashnikov Concern) in Russia in the 1990s, belonging to the AK-100 series. It is based on the AK-74M, with the barrel shortened to approximately 314mm (12.4 inches), designed to achieve a high level of both full-size rifle shooting performance and excellent maneuverability. Developed as a successor to the AKS-74U, it is intended for operations requiring high handling, such as urban warfare, vehicle crews, airborne troops, and special forces.

The operating system adopts the traditional long-stroke gas piston and rotating bolt of the AK series, demonstrating excellent reliability even in harsh environments such as mud, dust, and low temperatures. In line with the shorter barrel, it is equipped with a dedicated large flash hider, which suppresses recoil and muzzle flash while also improving control during rapid firing.

The exterior features durable polymer handguards, pistol grips, and a side-folding stock, achieving lightness and portability. The left side of the receiver comes standard with a side mounting rail, allowing the attachment of various optical sights and night vision devices, offering greater expandability than previous AK series models. Despite its compact size, it maintains ballistic performance close to that of the AK-74M, making it a versatile carbine suitable for a wide range of situations from CQB to medium-range combat.

The AK-105 is still used by the Russian military and various law enforcement agencies, and has also been adopted by military and law enforcement agencies overseas, enjoying high popularity as a representative carbine model of the AK-100 series.
