Product overview
This product is an electronic trigger unit that can be installed in the Tokyo Marui standard electric gun specification Ver.3 series gearbox.
By replacing a normal physical main switch with PERUN V3 HYBRID PRO, you can achieve extremely advanced control.
Various functions are added, such as "pre-cocking" which dramatically improves semi-automatic response, "active brake" which brakes the motor to instantly stop operation, burst function, and battery protection function.
It comes standard with a cable and T-connector that provide excellent current conduction efficiency, and the MOSFET circuitry significantly improves current conduction efficiency, increasing the response in semi-auto and the rate of fire in full-auto.
Of course, there is no need to worry about the switch burning out, and it is equipped with a highly safe electronic fuse and self-diagnosis function, so there is no need to install a physical fuse.
Switching and setting each mode is done by operating the selector and trigger input.
Pre-cocking, active braking, and burst settings can be finely adjusted for each item, and the setting status can be checked using the LED on the board.
The setup process is simple and easy to understand, so you don't need to remember any complicated operations.
In case you forget the settings, the unit is also equipped with a master reset function, allowing you to reset the settings from scratch.
Function Description
[Firing Mode Settings]
Safety, semi-automatic, 2-5 round burst, and full-automatic firing modes can be freely assigned to the semi/full selector positions.
Burst fire means that a single pull of the trigger will always fire the specified number of bullets.
[Active Brake Function (AB)]
It controls the motor, forcibly stopping the inertia after firing, improving the sharpness of semi-auto. When firing in full auto, firing stops the moment you release your finger, improving the trigger feel.
This stabilizes the piston's forward and backward movement, preventing spring wear (*), but it also puts a strain on the motor, causing heat and wear. The strength can be set in stages 1-5 to suit your environment. It is recommended to use it in conjunction with a high-torque motor with high heat resistance.
*This may not be the case depending on the setting.
[Pre-cocking]
This function holds the piston in the retracted position, maximizing the sharpness of the semi-auto.
The piston moves forward as soon as the trigger is pulled, giving it a trigger feeling similar to that of an air-cocking gun, and when combined with a high-spec motor, it delivers response that is on a whole new level.
This function can be set to two settings: 10ms (9 levels) and 1ms (9 levels), and can be adjusted in up to 99 levels.
You can roughly set the pre-cocking level at 10ms and fine-tune it at 1ms (setting only one of them is also fine).
This allows for easier and more precise pre-cocking adjustment than conventional models.
Since each part inside the gearbox is subjected to stress, comprehensive reinforcement is required for use.
[Binary Shot (BINARY TRIGGER)]
One shot is fired when the trigger is pulled and one when it is released.
This function is only available when semi-automatic fire is selected.
[2-STAGE TRIGGER]
Like the Steyr AUG, you can set different firing modes for when you pull the trigger lightly and then when you pull it all the way.
[Trigger sensitivity adjustment (TRIGGER SENSITIVITY)]
Adjusts the sensitivity of how far you pull the trigger to fire.
If you increase the sensitivity, the gun will fire immediately after you start pulling the trigger, and if you decrease the sensitivity, the gun will not fire unless you pull the trigger all the way.
[ADAPTIVE TRIGGER CONTROL]
This function detects the slightest return of the trigger during semi-automatic firing and allows the next bullet to be fired.
After pulling the trigger once to fire, the next shot can be fired by reading slight forward and backward movements without having to release the trigger completely.
This function is more effective when the trigger sensitivity is increased.
[RoF Reduction]
Suppresses the firing cycle in burst and full auto mode.
This is a useful function when the cycle of your electric gun is too fast or when you want to reduce the consumption of BB bullets.
It does not affect first shot response, so it can purely suppress the firing cycle without reducing first shot response.
Do not use this mode with brushless motors to protect the circuit board.
[DMR MODE]
This is a simulation mode that recreates the sniper carefully aiming each shot, just like with a real gun.
This sets the inactivity time after the trigger is pulled once before the next shot can be fired. This is a function suitable for those who want to feel the tension of sniping.
Another use is to prevent bump fires.
Enabling this feature will lock the fire mode to semi-auto.
[LIPO ALARM]
It only works when a LiPo battery is connected, and will beep when it detects that the voltage has dropped to 3.7V per cell.
Compatible with 7.4V/11.1V LiPo batteries. This does not have an auto-cut function, so please replace the battery immediately after the warning.
*Even if this function is turned off, the device will stop with an error if the voltage falls below the operating voltage.
[Electronic fuse]
It is equipped with an electronic fuse that has a much faster response speed than a physical fuse, protecting the circuit board even if a problem occurs with the electric gun.
[DSG MODE]
This function enables the sensor to correctly read the special shape of the DSG (double sector gear).
By enabling this function, you can improve operational stability when using DSG.
[MASTER RESET]
Reset the settings to the factory defaults. Use this if you want to start over with all the settings.
[High-efficiency T-connector specification (DEANS CONNECTOR)]
The T-connector (Deans connector) is rated at 50A and has excellent current conduction efficiency, reducing heat generation and contributing to improved response and cycle times.

Precautions
■About embedding
The listed specifications are merely the tolerances of the board. It is assumed that there are no problems with the electric gun to be installed, and that the clearances of each gear have been properly adjusted and the parts selected.
If the load exceeds the manufacturer's expectations due to improper assembly of each part, or if the battery is connected in reverse, the safety circuit may not operate and the board may be damaged.
Damage caused by personal installation is not covered by the warranty, so if you have any concerns about the installation, please ask a professional shop to install it.
Since this is a product that requires knowledge and skills for integration, we do not provide integration support for each model.
Installation requires a certain amount of storage space and wiring space.
Do not replace the wiring as the circuit board is sensitive to heat. If the wiring is damaged, replace it with a new unit.
■About use with brushless motors
This product was not developed to be used in conjunction with a brushless motor.
As of December 2021, we have confirmed that the Option No.1 plug-in brushless motor works, but specifications may change without notice.
In addition, we cannot guarantee or support the product when used in conjunction with a brushless motor, so please use at your own risk.
We cannot guarantee the operation of all brushless motors that will be released in the future or that may be subject to specification changes.
■About commercially available conversion connectors
Do not use a conversion connector to connect the battery.
In recent years, major e-commerce sites have begun selling "T-connector to Tamiya mini connector" conversion connectors, but many of these have reversed positive and negative polarity.
Please note that using such products can instantly damage the circuit board.
We will not be responsible for any problems that may arise when using a conversion connector. Also, this problem may occur when using a conversion connector, so please try to connect the battery directly as much as possible.
■About T-connector compatibility issues
There may be compatibility issues with T-connectors. Always use manufacturer-branded connector terminals; do not use generic ones. We recommend T-connectors from brands such as "Eagle Model" and "LayLax."
