This is the fourth model in the fixed slide compact gas gun series and is a bold reproduction of Taurus' unique pistol, the "CURVE."
The "Taurus CURVE" is a compact carry-on gun with a curved grip frame, just as its name suggests.
The reason for this curve is that when you carry it without a holster, by clipping it to your belt or inside your pants (like you often see in movies), the curved shape follows the contours of your body, providing a more natural look and a better fit when carried.
It also comes with a metal belt clip, just like the real thing, so you can instantly enjoy the action of pulling it out of your pants.
The gun has a rounded silhouette with curves throughout, designed to fit the contours of the hand, and even the sights are omitted to prevent snagging in an emergency. The real gun has a laser sight and LED flash built into the front of the frame, but these features are not reproduced in this model; they are just dummies.
So how is the sighting done? The white line on the rear of the slide is used as a guide for aiming. This is a carry gun for close range use in emergencies.
While the real gun holds six .380ACP rounds, this gas gun's magazine holds 10 BBs. One dedicated zinc die-cast magazine is included.
The internal mechanism is made of metal parts, just like the LCP and Bodyguard in the same series, ensuring weight and strength. It also uses a double action system with a built-in hammer.
Although the asymmetrical shape is unusual, it is a model that will appeal to those who love unusual guns.
