This time, the Colt Texas Patterson replica model gun, which has been revived in modern times after 180 years, is a limited edition model that combines a heavy, realistic blue-black finish with a case-hardened frame that is entirely made by hand.

This Patterson rifle is the first mass-produced revolver in the history of firearms, manufactured by Colt in the United States in 1836.

Its main feature is the sheath trigger system, where the trigger pops out when the hammer is cocked, and its design is so fresh and sophisticated that it's hard to believe it's over 180 years old, as seen in the recesses in the frame beside the trigger and the bulge at the bottom of the grip.

The Paterson name comes from the fact that Colt's first factory was located in Paterson, New Jersey. The Paterson Museum of Industrial Products is now located in Paterson, where almost every variation of the Paterson rifle is on display. Incidentally, the original product name of the Paterson rifle was "COLT'S REPEATING PISTOL," and Colt's current headquarters is in Hartford, Connecticut.
