The Type 89 rifle, which was officially adopted by the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force in 1989, is a domestically produced model that boasts performance and design that surpasses famous assault rifles from around the world.
To fully convey its charm and power, Tokyo Marui has faithfully reproduced everything from the fine surface details to the distinctive stock shape based on extremely accurate materials and extensive research. Furthermore, it realizes the Type 89 rifle's greatest feature, 3-burst (3-round limit shot), and is equipped with realistic gimmicks throughout.
Tokyo Marui has put all its effort into bringing this ambitious product to the world: the Type 89 5.56mm Electric Rifle.
A newly developed mechanical box with a built-in 3-burst mechanism perfectly reproduces the 3-burst limit fire mode, which fires 3 shots when the trigger is pulled, in addition to semi-auto and full-auto firing. The click feeling when operating the selector is also realistic.
The aluminum alloy one-piece outer barrel and die-cast upper and lower receivers increase rigidity, while the metallic texture adds a touch of realism.
Each part can be adjusted and operated, including the front and rear sights, cocking handle, gas regulator, etc. The rear sight also reproduces the storage function unique to the Type 89 rifle.
The bipod can be easily attached to the barrel by operating a lever and can be folded just like the real thing.
By removing the flash hider, you can attach a muzzle option with a 14mm reverse thread, such as a silencer.
The realistic magazine holds 69 rounds and features a hole in the side for a dummy cartridge, allowing you to fire every last round. It can also be used with M16 and M4 series magazines, just like the real thing. *Type 89 magazines cannot be used with M16 and M4 series guns.
