Its heat-resistant polymer sleeve, overlaid with a stainless steel heat shield, attaches directly to the suppressor body with a steel clamp, keeping the outer cover up to 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit cooler than the suppressor's surface and allowing cooling airflow through. Additionally, it acts as an excellent insulator and signature reducer, significantly reducing the mirage effect that impacts the shooter's field of view, reducing the potential for impact damage to the suppressor body, and reducing the risk of accidents and equipment damage caused by heat generated during firing and cooling.
