This is a replica of the US military-issued Trijicon ACOG TA31 with a light tube.
This 4x fixed scope features a focusing tube on the top of the body that illuminates the center of the reticle without the need for batteries. The sides are engraved with the same embossed engraving as the real thing, and even feature a serial QR code marking for a truly realistic finish .
As a replica, the lens is very clear, and the width, lack of distortion, and brightness are all of high quality, a finish unique to Evogear.
The eye relief is 48mm, which is easy to grasp at close range, but it may take some getting used to when shooting up close, but there is no doubt that it is a very easy-to-use scope.
As a side note, ACOG stands for Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight. Unlike many reflex sights, it does not require a power source to emit light. Instead, it uses a fiber optic external light tube to focus light on the reticle during the day, and built-in tritium fluoresces in places with insufficient light, such as at night.
