What is the Daniel Defense M4A1?

The Daniel Defense M4A1 is an AR-15 style carbine that conforms to the SOCOM (U.S. Special Operations Command) SOPMOD Block II specifications. It features a 5.56mm NATO caliber and a 14.5-inch chrome-lined, cold hammer-forged barrel. The design avoids NFA regulations by pinning and welding the muzzle device. Its most distinctive feature is the officially adopted U.S. military RIS II quad rail handguard, boasting high durability and expandability. The gas system is a carbine-length direct impingement type, and the receiver is made from 7075-T6 aluminum billet with a hardcoat anodized finish. It is also equipped with a GRIP-N-RIP charging handle for improved operability and ergonomically designed grip and stock. It weighs approximately 3.06kg and has an overall length of about 80-88cm. This model combines high reliability with real-world specifications, meeting the demands of professional use.
