The CNC Split Gearbox V2 is designed for airsoft replica AR15 (M4), M16 and V2 gearbox equipped models.

This product is manufactured from a single block of aircraft-grade aluminum (duralumin) EN AW 7075 T651, which has a higher strength (590 MPa) than common structural steel (390 MPa). This material makes our gearboxes more durable and impact-resistant than common zinc-aluminum alloy gearboxes.

The split gearbox has many advantages, making it much easier to install internal components into the gearbox. When adjusting the cylinder set, you don't need to remove the entire gearbox from the receiver; just disassemble the upper section, which is secured by a single receiver pin. This gearbox can also be installed on AR15 (M4) receivers that are not perfectly straight, and can be used with your preferred AR15 (M4) hop-up chamber.

The recommended nozzle length is 21.3mm . However, please note that nozzle length is affected by various factors, such as the angle of the tapped plate and the length of the front of the hop-up backing. These conditions will require a different nozzle length.

The RetroArms gearbox is equipped with the Quick Spring Change System (QSC) , which allows you to remove the entire spring guide with a hex wrench and replace the spring without opening the gearbox. This method requires the spring guide to be secured with a screw, and AR15 (M4) replicas usually use the screws that come with the stock. If you are using a folding stock or no stock at all, you should secure it with the QSC screws. Otherwise, the spring guide may become stuck along with the spring. This is because the spring guide is not fixed inside the gearbox, allowing it to be easily removed with a hex wrench.

The trigger switch space is designed to be compatible with trigger switches and trigger units from major manufacturers (e.g., Gate).

The CNC Gearbox can only be installed on Tokyo Marui compatible airsoft replicas. This includes the internal parts. Do not use excessive force during installation. Use only a 1Nm tightening torque on the screws, as this will damage the screw head. To ensure a secure fit, do not use excessive force. Use thread adhesive or a thread collar.
