Product Description

Tokyo Marui's first gas blowback shotgun, the Saiga-12K!

Tokyo Marui's new product, which was originally scheduled for release in the fall of 2021 but was postponed to improve quality, will finally be released in June 2023!

Tokyo Marui's gas shotguns to date include the Remington M870 series and the Kel-Tec KSG, both of which were pump-action shotguns that were cocked by pulling the fore-end.

The new Saiga-12K is a gas blowback reproduction of a semi-automatic shotgun developed by the Russian company Izhmash, known for the AK47.

This model is based on the Saiga 12, but has a barrel shortened to approximately 17 inches and a folding stock attached, making its size similar to that of an assault rifle an operational advantage.

The receiver and rear are designed to resemble the AK, with a large box magazine making a striking presence. The receiver cover is made of pressed steel just like the real thing, and the receiver itself is made of zinc die-cast, giving it a powerful, full-metal appearance.

Each operation system is the same as the AK, so users familiar with the AK will be able to use it smoothly and without any discomfort.

This is Marui's first semi-auto blowback shotgun with a three-shot firing mechanism, and it features a newly developed engine specifically designed for the Saiga. Unlike the systems found in the M870 and KSG, it does not have a switchable three-shot or six-shot firing mechanism, but the mechanism remains the same, firing BBs simultaneously from three independent inner barrels.

Like a regular gas blowback, it has a gas tank inside the magazine, allowing for more realistic operation than the previous M870/KSG gas shotgun series, which required unrealistic movements when changing the gas tank during gameplay.

The magazine holds 45 rounds, allowing for 15 shots when fully loaded. The internal unit can be easily removed from the magazine case, and a temperature display label has been added to the gas tank, allowing you to visually check the magazine's cooling status. The tank can also be heated directly, allowing for faster heating.

The BB bullets fly in a straight line with a fixed hop, so the three bullets do not scatter widely, but the impact of multiple bullets hitting the target at the same time is something that only a shotgun can do.

A side mount similar to that of the AK is installed on the receiver, and Marui's genuine AK74 series mount can be installed.
