ZEISS Victory HT 2.5-10x50

A powerful all-rounder

About ZEISS
The ZEISS Group has grown rapidly from a workshop for precision instruments and optical components that company founder Carl Zeiss opened in the eastern German city of Jena in 1846. Today, the Group's headquarters are in Oberkochen, Baden-Württemberg.
In Japan, Carl Zeiss Co., Ltd. was founded in 1911. ZEISS Japan is not only a local partner for the semiconductor, automotive and mechanical engineering industries, biomedical research and medical technology, but is also a leading manufacturer of eyeglass lenses, camera and cine lenses, and binoculars.

The ultimate all-rounder representing the HT line for all hunting applications. Whether hunting on the move or from a high chair, this riflescope is at home in any hunting situation. The innovative optics of the ZEISS Victory® HT line really shine in the twilight of twilight.

The ZEISS brand name is synonymous with brilliant, high-contrast optics. Now, ZEISS sets new standards with the ZEISS Victory® HT, the brightest riflescope in the history of ZEISS. Its innovative optics ensure a transmission of over 95%. This high performance is the result of the perfect combination of SCHOTT HT lenses, an improved ZEISS T* multi-layer coating, and the AbbeKönig prism system. Experience a new dimension in hunting with the ZEISS Victory HT riflescope. Observe longer and more precisely in the hunting field, even in the evening or at night. Experience cutting-edge engineering with this crisp, clear ZEISS product.

[Main uses]

[Features]

・Light transmittance 95%
The high-transmittance Schotto glass delivers high resolution for clear target identification in low light conditions. The bright, high-contrast images provide excellent support for those times when you need just a few more minutes of hunting time, especially since some of the most memorable hunting moments are often at dawn or dusk.

- The world's best illuminated dot
The secret to the precision of ZEISS riflescopes is their ultra-fine illuminated dot and low target coverage. This fiber optic system delivers the world's finest illuminated dot, just a fraction of the thickness of a human hair. Target coverage of 3.3 mm at 100 meters is truly breathtaking (V8 & V6 @20x). Absolute precision for the smallest targets at maximum distances.

・ZEISS T* coating
ZEISS T* coating is a guarantee of the brilliant, high-contrast images you will experience above all in adverse light conditions and in the twilight. Behind it, however, there is no specific formula for building up the layers. Instead, it is a technology that is constantly adjusted to suit new glass materials and requirements, which varies from lens to lens.

-Clear visibility in any weather
There are always exciting things to be seen in the world of nature – even in wet weather. This is why ZEISS developed LotuTec®: a coating for the lenses of binoculars and spotting scopes that enables a clear and unhindered view in all weather conditions.

The secure, stable shooting "clip-on" attachment is compatible with all ZEISS V8, ZEISS Victory HT, ZEISS Conquest V6, and ZEISS Conquest V4 riflescopes. Learn more here.

- Temperature
Performs reliably in extreme climatic conditions, from the Sahara Desert to Antarctica.
Temperature shock: Deep freezing to -40°C in less than 5 minutes, temperature shock from -25°C to 50°C. Tested to the limits of materials in an artificial climate chamber.

Corrosion : Hard shell, hard core. Unaffected by hand sweat, chemicals, and other liquids.
24-hour salt spray test: Stored alongside metal test pieces in salt spray. While the test pieces became covered in rust, the optical equipment was not affected.

-Waterproof
It is durable enough to be used in all weather conditions, even in rough conditions.
Water immersion test: Simulates continuous rain and complete submersion of the product to ensure complete protection.

Shock : Accuracy under stress. When hunting, your optic is exposed to tremendous force every time a shot is fired. And sometimes it's even dropped. This lens is designed with those conditions in mind.
Shock tested to a maximum G-force of 1500g: 1,500g corresponds to the shooting load of a .460 Weatherby Magnum caliber.

Continuous Shocks : Shocks and bumps are an inevitable part of hunting, and your optics must be built to withstand them.
90 minutes of continuous shock: After 1.5 hours of continuous vibration in different directions, no changes were observed in the optics.

[Reticle]

#60 Illuminated
The Reticle 60 is brighter and finer than the Reticle 40, which was widely used just a few years ago. The bar subtension is half that of the previous model, and the spacing between them is doubled. This Reticle 60 minimizes target obscuration, making it the ideal partner for precision shooting. At 100 meters and with 12x magnification, the subtension is just 0.55cm, ensuring a wide field of view that ensures no detail is missed.
The extremely bright illuminated dot makes it suitable for daytime hunting. The ability to finely adjust the brightness of the illuminated dot makes it ideal for night hunting as well. The reticle is located in the second image plane of the riflescope.
*This reticle is only suitable for daylight use on modern riflescope models. It may not be available on older riflescope models for technical reasons.
