Product Description
Introducing custom gear sets for electric airsoft guns, designed for high quality and high performance.
Born from H.T.G. Basic's "Kuro (Black) Concept," these gear sets are compatible with Ver. 2, Ver. 3, and Ver. 6 gearboxes and feature the industry's first spiral gears and all-helical gears.
With five gear ratios available (18:1, 16:1, 13:1, 12:1, and 9:1 (DSG)), along with conventional spur gear types, a total of 10 variations expand customization possibilities.

[Integrated Design with High-Precision CNC Machining]
The high-precision integrated design achieved through CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining eliminates compatibility issues, noise, and transmission efficiency variations between gears. This ensures optimal performance without the need to worry about combining products from different manufacturers.

[Use of High-Strength Steel Material]
Made from S45C and 20CrMnTi (chromium-manganese-titanium alloy gear steel). The material and hardness of each part have been adjusted to suit the characteristics of electric airsoft guns, enhancing durability and reliability.

[Changes for Higher Speed and Easier Setup]
To improve the response of motors with instantaneous rotational speed increases, such as brushless motors, and electronic triggers, or to support precocking, the tappet pin position of the sector gear has been shifted to a delayed position compared to conventional models.
This increases the freedom and simplicity of tappet plate settings.

Sector cutting is primarily performed from the front tooth, allowing for settings that minimize changes in cutoff timing while adjusting the relationship between nozzle opening timing and the piston.
Additionally, the nozzle closing timing can be adjusted by cutting the lower part of the tappet plate's wing, increasing the flexibility of the machining shape and making nozzle control easier.

Note: There are differences from conventional settings, so please test thoroughly before use.

[Effects and Advantages of Spiral and Helical Gears]
◇ Spiral Gears (used for pinion gear and bevel gear)
・High torque transmission efficiency: The helical tooth surfaces make contact, causing multiple teeth to engage simultaneously. This ensures smooth torque transmission and resistance to heavy loads.
・Noise reduction: Increased contact area between teeth and smooth engagement significantly reduce vibration and noise.
・Improved durability: Stress on the tooth surface is distributed, resulting in less wear and longer lifespan.
*A pinion gear for D-type motor shafts is included.
Please note that it cannot be used with O-type shafts, such as our "Kuro Motor."

◇ Helical Gears (used for counter gear and sector gear)
・Smooth operation: The obliquely cut tooth profile provides continuous engagement with less impact.
・High rotational performance: Stable transmission is possible even at high rotation speeds, contributing to an improved rate of fire.
・Improved quietness: Compared to spur gears, contact is smoother, reducing noise within the gearbox.

◇ Specification Changes for Spiral Bevel Gear
・Due to its structural complexity, the spiral bevel gear is difficult to mold as a single piece and is therefore an assembled unit.
・The anti-reversal latch drum has been improved from conventional MIM molding to CNC machining to reduce play.
・The anti-reversal pawls have been increased from 5 to 6, and as an advantage of separate CNC machining, they have a smoother shape.

[Further Performance Enhancement through Meticulous Shimming]
Precise shimming minimizes backlash (play) between gears, leading to efficient torque transmission and improved response.

[Gear Ratio Lineup]
18:1: Standard gear ratio for balanced performance.
16:1: Improved rate of fire and moderate torque.
13:1: Ideal for users seeking high-speed firing.
12:1: Pursuing even higher firing speed.
9:1 (DSG): Dual Sector Gear specification for astonishing rates of fire and crisp semi-auto response due to short stroke.
*While the 9:1 (DSG) set has a gear ratio of 18:1, the effective gear ratio is 9:1 because the sector gear operates twice.

[Set Contents]
・Sector gear
・Counter gear (spur gear)
・Bevel gear
・Pinion gear
・Hex wrench
・Grub screws for installation

[Please Note]
・Replacing the pinion gear on a brushless motor requires skill and knowledge. If you are not confident or do not have the appropriate tools, please consult a specialized shop.
・Cannot be used with gears from other manufacturers or conventional spur gears.
・The piston pulling teeth of the spiral helical gear set's sector gear are 16 spur teeth (8 for DSG).
・Installation may require processing and adjustment.
・Apply threadlocker to the grub screws used to secure the pinion.
