In response to requests from law enforcement agencies, the M13 was developed based on the .38spl M10 and was designed to be capable of firing the powerful .357 Magnum ammunition. The model officially adopted by the FBI in 1974, combining a round butt with a 3-inch bull barrel, is commonly known as the "FBI Special." It features low, rounded fixed sights and a grip adapter to prevent snagging on clothing. This model has been recreated as a firing model gun. The grip features a press-fit weight for a sense of weight and excellent balance when held. The gun also features faithful engravings to the real thing, and the ultra-smooth operation characteristic of the SW rifle, recreating the charm of the M13 to the fullest. A black K-frame grip adapter is included.
