The real gun was developed at the request of the Austrian counter-terrorism unit Cobra, a machine pistol that added full-auto functionality to the G17. This special model is prohibited from general sale, and in 1996, it was improved to become the 18C (Compensated), making it easier to use. It features a gas port at the top of the slide that allows gases to escape upward when fired, reducing muzzle rise. This G18C has been recreated as a firing blowback model gun with excellent full-auto performance. The combination of a HW under-rail 3rd frame and a lightweight ABS slide provides high durability and stable, high-cycle full-auto performance. It is compatible with the lightweight, scratch-resistant Evo2 cartridge.
