Dueck Defense style RBU (Red dot Back Up sight base) for Optima/Doctor/Vortex red dot sights. This is a replica of the red dot backup sight base for Glocks, developed by Dueck Defense, a firearms accessory manufacturer founded by Barry Dueck, a former Marine and well-known shooter and developer.
By integrating the red dot sight mount base and backup sight into one unit, it prevents losing sight of the red dot and enables quick and accurate aiming. Furthermore, when used in conjunction with green inserts, it can improve the visibility of the red dot.
In addition, by providing a slight elevation to the base, it minimizes interference with the line of sight when a suppressor is attached, allowing for shooting without sacrificing tactical aspects. This simple yet practical product is an ingenious idea from an experienced veteran. It is recommended for those customizing their Glocks, as it is easy to install by simply replacing the rear sight.
