2.5-inch Sheriff's Heavyweight Firing Model Gun

The real gun is a double/single-action revolver, of which a total of 166,849 were produced between 1877 and 1909. It's a famous gun said to have been used by gunfighters like Billy the Kid and Doc Holliday. However, even in the United States, this model's complex mechanism makes it difficult to recreate in 3D. We took on the challenge, starting in February 2020 and spending over three and a half years on this model. The theme is the essence of a model gun: smooth firing. Grip: ABS resin Hammer, trigger, gate, sub-chassis, ejector tube, head, grip frame, etc.: Zinc die-cast.

*About the Colt Lightning's cylinder system.
The cylinder lock only works when a cartridge is inserted. This is due to the design of the cylinder stopper, which utilizes the cartridge rim. Please refer to the "Tips" on page 3 of the manual.
