[Pulsonite Cylinder]
The Precision Cylinder, which has overturned conventional wisdom in the industry, now features the stainless steel surface treatment Palsonite.

These stainless steel cylinders are the same size (bore diameter) as the factory cylinders. Instead of using standard stainless steel pipes, they are cold-forged for precision, achieving a bore diameter tolerance of ±1/100mm. This is the same precision as a typical custom inner barrel. This is the ultimate cylinder series, meticulously refined for wear resistance in bolt-action systems, where efficient piston acceleration and air ejection are key. Palsonite is a nitriding process that modifies the surface of stainless steel, improving durability and muzzle velocity when applied to airgun cylinders. Furthermore, the black finish transforms the stainless steel into an appearance befitting military-style rifles. Furthermore, because it is a surface modification process, it alters the material itself rather than leaving a film like paint, maintaining precision.

"Consideration of the connection point with the boss"
We pay close attention to the connection with the post body, which can be considered the neck of the custom cylinder.
While many cylinders use hollow split pins, we have determined that these do not provide the same level of durability, and have therefore adopted solid parallel pins. In addition, by welding the joints, we have created a tough cylinder that can withstand repeated cocking over a long period of time.

[Tapered cylinder head]
This part determines how efficiently the air pushed out of the cylinder can be converted into power. PDI places the same importance on this part as the inner barrel and chamber, and by using SUS303 and tapering the interior at an optimal angle, we have achieved power conversion that is greater than that of a regular shaped head.
*The stainless steel cutting head is produced based on the concept of "producing the best product" without considering costs, so it is not sold separately. It is a key part that is included only in this set.
Furthermore, the extended nozzle length optimizes the BB bullet holding position, resulting in stable output. The O-ring at the tip of the nozzle is suitable for improving airtightness within the chamber, reducing air loss.

[VC (vacuum) piston]
The PDI piston, which was a best-seller in the APS series, is now used in the L96.
It is divided into four parts, with the head and body made of durable aluminum alloy, the ring made of POM, which has excellent sliding properties and is highly durable, as it comes into contact with the cylinder, and the rearmost part is made of carbon steel as it is the part that is subjected to the most stress and is attached to the sear.
By using the right material in the right place, we have created an ideal piston in terms of durability.

*Note: Regarding POM part colors:
Due to a shortage of raw materials (POM), it is becoming difficult to procure materials.
The color of the piston ring (POM) of the product you receive will be either white (POM) or black (POM) depending on the situation.

[VC piston spring guide]
The spring guide is a part that is susceptible to stress caused by the expansion and contraction of the spring when cocking, so a POM thrust ring is installed at the base to reduce the load directly applied to the guide base.
The entire stainless steel is machined to ensure high dimensional accuracy, and even the shaft is thoroughly polished to ensure smooth pump action.

*Please use end cap bolts that meet the standards sold by our company.
Marui genuine bolts are made to original specifications, so they have a smaller diameter than standard bolts. If used with a PDI cylinder, the threads may not fit. The standard cap bolt for the L96AWS is an M3 x 12mm pan head cap bolt.
