The real MG42 is a general-purpose machine gun developed and manufactured by Nazi Germany during World War II.

This model is just like the real thing, and features a detachable bipod, flip-up front sight, cocking handle, and rear sight that are all movable just like the real thing.

The barrel can be attached and detached in the same way as a real gun. To attach it, pull the cocking handle to pull the inner barrel toward the receiver and secure it in place. The gearbox inside the receiver can be easily removed.

The wooden stock is rounded to make it easier to rest on your shoulder.
The drum magazine attached to the left side of the main body holds 1,700 rounds.
