Product Description

The maniacal XM177E1 was created based on the WE XM177E2.

The XM177E1, which appeared in the 1960s, was based on the CAR-15, a shortened version of the M16 developed for vehicle and aircraft crews and special forces, and was equipped with a telescoping stock that later became the prototype for the M4 carbine.

Also known as the M609 (Colt's product name), it has the same short-barreled silhouette as its predecessor, the CAR-15, equipped with a 10-inch barrel, and its unique shape with a flash hider extending immediately from the front sight post makes it a tasteful model.

Just a few years after its introduction, the XM177E2 with an 11.5-inch barrel was developed, and this slightly longer E2 offered further improvements such as reduced firing noise and muzzle flash, and even the ability to mount grenades. The 10-inch XM177E1, which preceded the transition to the 11.5-inch barrel length that is still popular in AR-15s today, is a popular model for enthusiasts, reminiscent of the transitional period during the Vietnam War.

Although the barrel length differs from the XM177E2 by only 1.5 inches (approximately 38 mm), the appearance gives a completely different impression, with a cool look that exudes a sense of special use.

The XM177E1 was not originally officially made into a gas gun by WE, but it is a custom gun based on the company's XM177E2, with the barrel shortened and the real gun marking 177E1 engraved on it.

If we simply shortened only the outer barrel, the inner barrel would be exposed to the outside, but we have shortened this as well to keep it neatly tucked away.

Other specifications are the same as the 177E2.
