Product Description

The functions are condensed into an extremely small board, so with just this one device you can freely set pre-cocking, burst settings, active brake settings, and more!

Multifunctional with outstanding cost performance!

*This is a T-connector specification, so please make sure to equip the battery with a T-connector as well.

PERUN AB++ is a compact, high-performance electronic control unit that retains the layout of conventional FET units and includes active braking, pre-cocking, burst functions, and more.

■What is PERUN AB++ ?<br>This product is a FET unit that includes an advanced electronic control circuit that is incorporated into conventional electric guns to not only improve current flow efficiency and prevent burnout due to arc discharge at the switch contacts, but also to provide functions that further enhance the shooting performance and convenience of the electric gun.

It follows the layout of a general FET unit, so it can be incorporated into a wide range of models.
In addition, since highly efficient wiring and trigger signal lines are already attached to the board, there is no need for soldering to the electronic board, which requires relatively advanced techniques.

Various functions can be set by operating the setting switches and triggers on the board, and the status can be easily checked by sound and LED lamps.

-Fire mode change including 2-5 round burst -5-level active brake -8-level pre-cocking -5-level fire cycle suppression -5-level DMR mode -Lipo alarm

In case you forget the settings, the unit is also equipped with a factory reset function, allowing you to reset the settings from scratch.

■Models that can be installed <br>It can be installed in Tokyo Marui standard electric guns, next-generation electric guns, some electric handguns and compact electric guns (depending on storage space), and electric guns that are equipped with a non-electronically controlled FET unit and allow for wiring replacement to the switch part.

*The PERUN AB++ board itself is located near the battery terminals, so please make sure there is no problem with storage space.

■ Models that cannot be incorporated

  • Models equipped with FCU such as PERUN HYBRID and GATE TITAN
  • Models equipped with electronic triggers such as ETU
  • Models with no wiring space (BOLT M4 series, etc.)
  • Models with SBD (cannot be used in combination with SBD)

■Applicable conditions <br>The applicable conditions for this product are as follows.
<Allowable voltage>
・7 to 17V

<Compatible battery>
・Li-Po: 2 to 4 cells (7.4V to 14.8V)
・Li-Fe: 3 to 4 cells (9.9V to 13.2V)
・Ni-MH/Ni-Cd: 8 to 10 cells (9.6V to 12V)

<Operation cycle>
・Up to 50 shots per second

■Note : The voltages listed in the applicable conditions are merely the allowable values of the board, and it is assumed that the electric gun into which it is installed will operate mechanically without any problems at the voltage used.

This product is equipped with the latest electronic fuse, which has a much faster response speed than a physical fuse, but there is a risk of the board itself being damaged by extreme overcurrent, reverse power connection, fatal short circuit, etc. This will not be covered by the warranty, so please be careful when setting up your electric gun, checking the polarity of the power supply, and pinching the wiring.

- Do not use a conversion connector to connect the battery.
In recent years, major e-commerce sites have been selling "T-connector to Tamiya mini connector" converters, but many of them have reversed polarity. Please be aware that using such products can instantly damage the circuit board.

- Compatibility issues may occur with T-connectors. Always use manufacturer-supplied connector terminals, not NB products. We recommend T-connectors from well-known brands such as Eagle Model and LayLax. This issue may also occur when using conversion connectors, so please try to connect the battery directly whenever possible.

・A certain amount of storage space and wiring space is required for installation. When installing in an airsoft gun with limited storage space, such as an electric handgun, please pay close attention to setting the wiring length and securing the space.
If you are not confident in your soldering skills, do not attempt assembly work. The board is sensitive to heat, so do not replace the wiring. If the wiring is damaged, replace it with a new unit.

PERUN AB++ Features

BURST MODE
You can set any burst mode from 2 to 5 points in the full auto position.
Burst firing will stop when the trigger is pulled to the end and the set number of shots is fired.
If you release the trigger during burst firing, firing will stop even if the set number of shots has not been fired.

Once the set burst has been fired, the piston will stop in its forward position.

*Depending on the effect of the active brake and internal settings, the set number of bursts may not match the actual number of bullets fired.

Active Brake (AB)
This is an electric brake that uses the inertia force when stopping the motor. Normally, even if the power to the motor is cut off when shooting stops, the gears will continue to rotate to some extent due to the inertia force, but by applying the active brake, it is possible to prevent the gears from spinning freely due to the inertia force when shooting stops.

Using the active brake improves the shooting feel and makes the firing feel more crisp. It also stops the piston more accurately in situations where a semi-auto would normally double fire (overrun) at high response speeds.

Pre-cocking
By keeping the piston in the retracted position, the semi-automatic response is improved.
The firing cycle of a normal electric gun is that when you pull the trigger, the piston is cocked and then the BB bullet is fired. Because of this mechanism, the trigger response speed (the time from pulling the trigger to actually firing) of a typical electric gun is inevitably a little behind that of an air-cocking gun or gas blowback gun.

However, by using the pre-cocking function, the gun can be kept in a cocked state at all times, and firing can be performed immediately by pulling the trigger.
It will be possible to achieve trigger response speeds equal to or faster than those of air-cocking guns and gas blowback guns.

■RoF Reduction
Reduces motor speed.
If your electric gun cycles too fast and causes problems, you can use this function to keep it at an appropriate cycle.

In the case of PERUN AB++, this setting affects both full and semi operation.
It also affects the number of rounds in a burst and the amount of pre-cocking recoil.
This function can also be used to make fine adjustments when the cycle is too fast and pre-cocking adjustments are difficult.

DMR Mode
Sets the delay time to prevent repeated trigger operations.
Like a sniper rifle, this function can be used to simulate situations where you need to fire each shot carefully. You can also use this function to prevent unintentional continuous firing.

Enable this function if you are performing delicate trigger work and find that chattering on the switch boundary causes the ON/OFF operation to be pressed repeatedly.

■Li-Po ALARM
When using a LiPo battery, a beep will sound to notify you of a drop in voltage.
When the voltage drops below a preset level, it will beep every 30 seconds.
This product automatically detects the optimal default value depending on the number of cells in the connected LiPo battery.

Please note that this function is not an auto-cut function for LiPo batteries. If the alarm starts to sound, replace the battery as soon as possible and charge it appropriately.
Also, if you are using a battery other than a LiPo battery, please turn this function off.

■ Electronic fuse * Always ON
This is an electronic fuse that instantly detects overcurrent and cuts off the current.
When an electrical overload caused by a short circuit, piston lock, gear crash, etc. is detected, the power supply is immediately cut off to protect the circuit board.

This electronic fuse is state-of-the-art and responds much faster than a physical fuse, providing greater safety and protection for your AEG.

They cannot withstand extremely high currents or reverse polarity connections, which are most often caused by serious human error.
This function cannot be turned off as it is related to safety.
