Typically, sports glasses, while offering a lightweight fit and optical performance, lack the safety of ANSI Z87.1 certification. Conversely, general safety glasses and traditional military eyewear, while meeting ANSI Z87.1 and Mil-Spec safety standards, feature thick, heavy frames and minimum optical performance due to their thick lenses.
The original GUARD overturned this seemingly obvious and simplistic design, and GUARD ADVANCED is its further evolution.
GUARD ADVANCED is a dual (2-eye) half-rim military eyewear that redefines conventional expectations with features such as a Triloid™ impact-resistant frame that balances safety and lightweight design, high-performance 2.0mm-thick SELENITE™ optical lenses with optical and safety advantages, a wide field of view and extensive protection comparable to single-lens wide-angle eyewear despite being a dual-lens system, and an X-LOCK lens system for easy lens replacement.
