　Commercially available M14 negative thread compatible silencers and hiders can be directly attached.
　This dramatically expands the choice of aftermarket parts.

Also supports M16 positive thread conversion.
　If used with the positive/negative adapter removed,
　it can also be used as an M16 positive thread → M14 negative thread conversion adapter.
