The M45A1 is a .45 caliber pistol officially adopted by the U.S. Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (U.S. MARSOC). Based on the 1911A1, it features an under-mount rail, Novak sights, a National Match barrel, and G10 fiberglass grips. In 2016, its specifications were changed from the previous Cerakote TAN color to Ionbond coated FDE. The BM-45 adopts a short-recoil-canceled outer barrel, ensuring stable operation even when a tracer or silencer is attached.
