NorthEast Sten Mk6 Wooden Stock Machine Carbine GBB with Silencer

This is the seventh model in the series, counting from the first "Mk2 T-Stock Early (discontinued)".

It has a wooden stock and pistol grip, and the front is extended by a silencer, so in terms of form it is the most "modern" and has the same size and balance as current carbines.

[Real Gun History]

The Sten Mk.6, which began production in 1945, had the same firing system, bolt, recoil spring, wooden stock and grip as the Mk.5, but the barrel followed the Mk.5 design with the addition of a groove for mounting the Mk.2 front sight.
The purpose of developing the Mk.6 was to convert the Mk.5 into a special silenced firearm like the Mk.2(S). The removable silencer can be attached to the outside of the insulating layer with a string-type heat-insulating cushion, and its performance is almost the same as the Mk.2(S) silencer, with some exceptions.
The Sten Mk.6 was used by the British and Australian Special Forces, the Ranger.
