The Silverback SRS-A2 22-inch is a licensed production model of Desert Tech's SRS (Scout Recon Stealth) A2 bullpup sniper rifle, with a resin handguard and resin magazine . This is the latest model in the SRS series.

Receiver, outer barrel, and rail handguard are machined from 6061 aluminum. Magazine: Resin (25 rounds).

The SRS monolithic receiver, CNC machined from aircraft-grade aluminum, features Desert Tech's patented new barrel mount.
Provides uniform clamping to the barrel, reducing stress concentration points.
The SRS-A2 receiver is significantly lighter, contributing significantly to the overall weight reduction.
Each receiver has a unique engraved serial number.
The lightweight, glass-reinforced handguard utilizes the MLOK attachment system. The SRS A2 receiver features a stainless steel tripod attachment point (1/4-20 UNC thread). It is compatible with Desert Tech's patented replica monopod. The top rail is detachable and can be replaced with multiple optional rails, including an M2-type rail.
The SRS bolt has an air capacity of 41cc and is compatible with all APS 13mm springs. Please note that standard spring types and muzzle energies may vary by country. The cylinder is made of stainless steel (23.8mm bore diameter), and the integrated bolt handle is made of steel with an M8 bolt knob. The piston features an aircraft-grade aluminum alloy body and head, a steel piston end, and a 70° synthetic rubber piston cup. The spring guide is made of glass-fiber-reinforced nylon and features two damping O-rings. The bolt dust cover is perforated, and the red piston serves as a loaded indicator.
The piston sear is steel, and the aluminum trigger is preload adjustable. The trigger housing is glass-reinforced nylon. The piston sear height is adjustable by moving the trigger box forward or backward. The steel safety is ambidextrous.
The outer barrel (CNC machined, aircraft-grade aluminum) has a bull-profile shape and features an M24x1 thread (DTSS silencer compatible). The inner barrel is stabilized with three barrel spacers. The inner barrel (6.05 x 420 mm, brass) and hop-up rubber (silicon 60°) are AEG-style.
The bidirectional CNC aluminum hop-up unit mounts directly to the quick-change barrel assembly, allowing barrel changes in seconds while maintaining the hop-up setting. The hop-up setting is adjusted through the receiver with the included key via two screws on the top of the rifle, without removing the barrel. The hop-up is also available with two oversized setting screws, sacrificing quick-change functionality and hop-setting retention.
The stock and butt pad extensions (two types included) are made of glass-reinforced nylon.
The lightweight polymer magazine has a 25-round (60 gram) capacity and features a new threadless design, allowing for quick, tool-free disassembly for cleaning.
No zinc alloy is used, and all screws are made of 10.9 grade steel.
