The Detonator is designed to not interfere with the barrel and slide of the Tokyo Marui G19 (which is why there is a protrusion on the side of the barrel).
Detonator's original design reproduces a realistic appearance with no visible protrusions from the side.
(PS: Models that do not use this structure may experience friction on the top of the chamber.)
