The Mil-Spec model is a drop-in replacement buttstock for AR15/M16 carbines that use Mil-Spec-sized receiver extension tubes. Designed for lightweight and rapid operation, the slim A-frame profile avoids snagging and protects the release latch to prevent accidental operation. The CTR features an additional friction locking system to minimize excess stock movement and an ambidextrous QD sling mount that accepts any push-button sling swivel. The Mil-Spec model includes a standard 0.3-inch-thick rubber buttpad, ensuring a secure fit and preventing slippage, even when wearing body armor or modular gear.

M4 carbine receiver extensions (buffer tubes) come in two basic sizes: Mil-Spec and Commercial-Spec.
If your rifle has commercial spec size extensions, be sure to order the commercial spec MOE.
