Iris Shutter (Pro Model) - Compatible with Lens Holders

We have made the Iris Shutter (Pro Model) compatible with "lens holders," which are parts of shooting glasses manufactured by Champion and Knobloch.

There are various sizes of "lens holders," parts for attaching corrective lenses to shooting glasses. We support three types: MEC (Knobloch)'s "23φ" and "37φ," and Champion's "32φ." The Iris Shutter, fixed in the center of a transparent base, can be attached to these lens holders.

While this configuration does not use corrective lenses, when the iris shutter is narrowed, you can clearly see the sight and target regardless of your vision. According to optics experts, beyond a certain degree of aperture narrowing, the presence or absence of a lens becomes irrelevant.

【Selectable Items】

■Base Diameter
You can choose one of three types: 23φ & 37φ (MEC/Knobloch) or 32φ (Champion). The edges of the end face have been chamfered to ensure a secure fit to the lens holder.

■Base Material
You can choose from three types: clear acrylic, milky white acrylic, and translucent acrylic. The thickness is 2mm.

Attached to a Knobloch 23φ lens holder. It can also be used with a Champion 25φ.

With milky white acrylic (left), the shape of what is beyond is mostly indistinguishable. With translucent (right), you can vaguely make out shapes if you get close, but not shapes at a distance. If held close to the eye like glasses, both appear "pure white."
