Tanaka S&W M49 "Body Guard" 2-inch HW Ver.2 Gas Gun

Based on S&W's Chief Special, a model with a concealed hammer to prevent snagging on clothing was developed for self-defense and sold to the public under the name "Bodyguard." Unlike the "Centennial," which completely conceals the hammer and is double-action only, this model had an exposed hammer tip, making it possible to use it in single action as well. Initially, only a lightweight aluminum-framed version (later the M38 Bodyguard Airweight) was available, but a steel-framed version was added to the lineup and named the "M49 Bodyguard."
Now, the M49 Bodyguard with its basic 2-inch barrel is available as a gas gun. The internals are the latest version of our S&W J-frame model gun, Version 2, which operates smoothly and features realistic engravings. Be sure to try out this professional-grade snub-nose revolver.
