What is Kinetic?
An American firearms parts manufacturer founded in 2014. They mainly produce full-scale firearm accessories, especially rail and handguard parts.

The Kinetic MREX Modular Receiver Extension (MREX) was designed to be simple, durable, and lightweight. Its slim profile gives the SCAR a sleek, sleek silhouette, significantly enhancing its appearance. The rail section, extending forward from the front sight/gas block, provides more space for accessory attachment and provides ergonomics that are ideal for the modern "support hand forward" stance. It also improves the weapon's weight balance, improving overall handling. The one-piece body ensures high durability without adding weight. Compared to the 4.9-inch version, this 4.25-inch MK2 version features additional M-LOK slots at 2 o'clock and 10 o'clock, providing improved protection around the gas block. Additionally, while it shares the same stepped front sight design as the MREX, the upper 12 o'clock Picatinny rail has been eliminated in favor of an M-LOK slot.
