Highly safe, large-capacity Li-Po battery with built-in protection functions and temperature sensors
Tokyo Marui's first genuine LiPo battery is finally here.
This 7.4V 1500mAh 35C battery is designed with safety in mind.
LiPo batteries have higher energy than conventional nickel-metal hydride batteries, but are also more prone to problems. To ensure safe use, the device is equipped with five protection functions using a dedicated IC.
The battery's own functions detect and prevent dangerous problems with LiPo batteries, such as over-discharge, over-charge, and short circuits.
It also has a built-in temperature sensor that detects the battery temperature on the connected compatible electric gun or genuine charger, preventing the risk of operation at abnormal temperatures.
As of the time of release in May 2023, only three models are compatible with MS Li-Po: the P-90 Electric Gun Plus, the MP5A5 Next Generation Electric Gun, and the MP5SD6 Next Generation Electric Gun. However, it is likely that all new electric gun series released by Tokyo Marui in the future will be MS Li-Po compatible, so the number of compatible models will gradually increase.
Large capacity Li-Po battery
This 7.4V 1500mAh Li-Po battery is cold-resistant and has low self-discharge. Compared to conventional nickel-metal hydride batteries, it is compact, lightweight, and has a high capacity. Its high output also improves the response time between pulling the trigger and firing the BB bullet.
Equipped with five protection functions
The battery is equipped with built-in protection functions to protect the battery and the user from problems such as overcharging, over-discharging, and short circuits. Equipped with a temperature sensor
The battery has a built-in temperature sensor, which allows chargers and electric guns compatible with MS/Li-Po batteries to detect the battery temperature and stop operation if the battery temperature is abnormal or outside the operating range.
Hard case protection
The battery is protected from external impacts by a flame-retardant PVC hard case, preventing damage to the battery that could cause smoke, explosion, or fire.
Cell management with internal circuitry
The internal circuitry of the battery manages the two series-connected cells, monitors the voltage across each cell, and charges appropriately for cells that are deteriorating, preventing further deterioration when connected to an electric gun.
