This small grip sleeve is popular because it can be used with a variety of guns, from handguns to rifles.
The rubber material provides a non-slip effect like Hogue and Pachmayr, but this product was developed with the aim of optimizing the ergonomic grip for handling firearms.
For details, please see below. ↓
This product aims to optimize the grip by creating intentional protrusions on the grip and adjusting the balance between hand support and operation.
This ensures the stability of the firearm, makes the operating fingers (index finger and thumb) feel more nimble, makes aiming easier, and improves gun handling.
■How to attach This product can be attached by passing it through the grip of a handgun or rifle.
You can experience the product concept by wearing it with the protrusion aligned with your ring finger.
It can be attached to cylindrical grips such as the Type 89 rifle and AR type.
*Note: This cannot be used for the following:
-Firearms with special grip shapes, such as the Steer-AUG, P90, and thumbhole style -Firearms with grips smaller than the inner diameter (at minimum) of this product
■Product concept We will explain the function of the hand to explain the concept of this product.
・The middle finger to little finger play a major role in supporting the outside of the palm and providing stability. / Not good at fine manipulation.
- Good at fine manipulation with the thumb, index finger, and inside of the palm/weak at support and stability
In other words, support and stability are on the outside of the hand and control is on the inside of the hand.
In this way, the inside and outside of the hand have a mutually complementary relationship.
Handling a firearm requires utilizing each of the hand functions listed above.
These actions include gripping and holding the handle, operating the safety and pulling the trigger, but if you use your fingers in a way that is inconsistent with their intended function, it will have a negative impact on your gun positioning, aiming, trigger pulling and even gun handling.
For example, when many people clasp their hands, they do so with their thumbs first.
If you hold your thumb with your index finger and leave the other fingers open, and then rotate your wrist, you may feel some discomfort in the movement of your wrist.
Conversely, if you extend your thumb and index finger, clench your other fingers, and rotate your wrist, the movement will be smoother, although this will vary from person to person.
This is because the thumb, which is good at manipulation, is used for support/stability, which it is not good at.
In other words, if you grip the gun with your thumb, your wrist will become stiff, which will affect how you handle the firearm in various ways.
This product is designed to have the protrusion on the grip aligned with the ring finger, allowing the user to grip the product with the ring finger in mind.
The thumb is also freed from its supporting/stabilizing role and can be assigned solely to its original role of manipulation.
By freeing your wrists, you can achieve proper eye-hand coordination.
This not only allows for delicate gun handling, but also makes it easier to aim the gun in front of your eyes when suddenly holding it, such as when holster drawing.
It also prevents unnecessary force from being applied, which helps prevent jerking when pulling the trigger.
